They cannot operate at their local hospitals for the same procedure they are performing on you (liposuction for example.) Ask them how they learned how to do liposuction or any procedure! They should be trained by an appropriate residency training body that re-certifies them every 10 years and is peer reviewed (Plastic Surgeons are). Ask them those questions! If they do not have privileges at these local hospitals (which are MD peer reviewed) then they cannot be "certified" to do your procedure. These "cosmetic doctors" have not been through the comprehensive residency Dr Jeneby has completed: (6 years General surgery and Plastic Surgery) and 2 Years after that (8 Years) to become a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in order to provide you with the safest, and most skilled hands. |
