Hot Stone Massage
This is not just a massage. It is a spiritual ancient ritual from the Hopi. Our therapists are specially trained to perform a Baslat Stone Massage. The placement of the stones sets the wheels in motion that are within our bodies, as well as mother earth's body. By having this energy treatment, your therapist can help balance the physical, mental and spiritual. The result is a feeling of well being, enabling the nervous system to react almost immediately.

Pre-Natal Massage
Expectant moms experience unique physical and emotional changes that occur as a result of increased weight, shifting posture, and adjusting hormone levels. While this is a beautiful period of heightened expectation and joy, mothers-to-be also endure heightened physical discomfort that ranges from muscular tension and headaches to pressure on the knees. Prenatal massage is a natural, touch therapy treatment aimed at alleviating these and other pregnancy related symptoms. Prenatal massage offers a wide range of benefits, which include the following:
- Eases backaches, headaches, shoulder and neck aches that may be caused by muscle tension and shifts in posture to accommodate increasing weight
- Decreases pain in the pelvic/hip area
- Increases circulation
- Improves digestion
- Reduces fatigue
- Improves skin elasticity that can help reduce stretch marks
- Helps reduce swelling in such places as hands and lower legs
- Can alleviate the stress on weight-bearing joints, like the knees, which are impacted by the extra weight of a growing baby
- Promotes relaxation and deep breathing
- Helps stabilize hormone levels by lessening anxiety
Taking time for yourself during pregnancy can be uplifting emotionally. The soothing essence of massage allows pregnant moms to unwind and feel serene, healthy, and comforted during a period of added physical and emotional stress.

Thai Massage
Traditional Ancient Thai massage is a unique form of Bodywork that incorporates Hatha Yoga, acupressure and reflexology with origins dating back about 2500 years. What we know of in the west as Thai massage is really more like a form of assisted yoga, an ingenious and efficient blend of stretching and acupressure. Unlike the scooping and continuous strokes of Western massage, the Thai method uses point pressure, muscle stretching and compression, done in a rhythmic movement of gentle rocking. Wear comfortable clothing for this session.

Tuina Massage
Tuina (pronounces ‘twee-nah’) massage is a recognized form of medical treatment for a wide range of health problems. It has been used for over 3000 years and is especially good for musculoskeletal problems. Tuina works on the energy channels and points, using the same principles as acupuncture. By using a wide variety of techniques- soft or hard, superficial or deep, the practitioner can balance the Qi energy, the vital substances and the internal organs on which the health of the person’s body and mind depends. An important effect of Tuina is to bring a person’s awareness back to his own body. Ultimately this allows the body to naturally heal itself.
